Frozen Fears

Buried beneath the ice of Jupiter’s moon Europa, a mining crew pulls up something that was never meant to be found. Hours later, it starts to broadcast.

Synopsis

Europa Base is a long way from anywhere. The youngest communications officer on the crew is still adjusting to the isolation, the expectations, and the brother he left behind on Earth. To stay close to that life, he keeps a journal.

Then a miner reports strange static on her comms, and the drills hit something deep in the ice. As Earth’s communications blackout closes in, the crew is on their own with a signal no one can explain.

Frozen Fears is a claustrophobic story about isolation, memory and what we owe the people we leave behind.
